THE OBJECTIVE |
The Corporate Security Division of a Fortune 10 global technology giant (company confidential) in Seattle decided to explore developing a public/private partnerships (P3) strategy in several cities where they had a major corporate presence.

HOW WE LED |
The effort was part visionary-- to activate as a forward thinking security department and convener within the security industry to create safer neighborhoods around their buildings to benefit the community, and part practical -- to gain insights and establish stakeholder relationships so they would be better prepared to keep their employees, visitors and local neighborhoods safe.
Hetty Group served as the engine behind the formation of an executive level security council, convening Chief Security Officers from the top Fortune 500 companies in Seattle with executives from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. We created the organization’s charter + operations, ran bi-monthly meetings and managed all partnerships. We were proud to replicate this model in Nashville, TN, and began talks to also launch in Arlington, VA, ahead of the company’s future corporate presence in both cities. The public/private partnership effort with police departments, fire departments, federal law enforcement agencies and other public safety officials helped the company gain insights and nuances into the public safety issues and neighborhoods where their future employees would work, live and socialize. Building important relationships with government officials ahead of new market entry was a strategic and wise effort and would set the stage for future partnership opportunities and activities. |
